Q. What part of the market do you service?

A. CCN's flagship product, Career Services Central, is the market-leading application powering small and mid-sized colleges and universities, community and technical colleges, and art and design colleges in the U.S.

CCN's other products service all colleges and universities in the U.S., regardless of size. To Top

Q. How do you define small and mid-sized colleges?

A. CCN defines a small school as one with fewer than 5,000 enrolled students, and mid-sized as schools with 5,001 to 25,000 enrolled students. To Top

Q. What size community and technical colleges do you work with?

CCN doesn't restrict size when working with community and technical colleges, and powers many of the largest single and multi-campus schools and systems in the country. They range from over 60,000 enrolled students to as few as a few hundred students. To Top

A. No. Set-up is included. To Top

Q. Most vendors we've spoken to need weeks or months to launch their career services products. How long does it take to launch Career Services Central?

A. All of CCN's clients were completely set up and online within only a few days time after we received all required materials and information from them. Career Services Central is the easiest to use, fastest to implement, and most powerful system available today. To Top

Q. How long have you been in continuous operation?

A. In 2017, we celebrated over twenty years of continuous service to our clients. The Company was founded in 1996 and incorporated in 1997. To Top

Q. We're frustrated with our current vendor because they understand programming, but not career services. Who will be my main contact if I switch to your service?

A. We understand. CCN is the only vendor that utilizes career service professionals to service your account. Our college relations managers (CRMs) are former directors, counselors, and professionals with vast experience in structuring, implementing, and maintaining career and employment offices. With CCN you never get redirected to an overseas help service or to young programmers who don't fully understand career services. You work and speak one-on-one with a career relations professional. Q. We recently found out that our career services software vendor outsources either all or some of its programming outside of the U.S. Do you? And who owns your programming code?

Q. Our career services provider offers a national job board but forced us to mix in all of our school's jobs with their national jobs and we don't like that. How does your service differ?

A. CCN provides two separate jobs databases for its clients: the schools' jobs database and CCN's national jobs database. We never mix the jobs and never solicit your school's students, alumni, or employers. You get the best of both worlds. Plus, all jobs regardless of which database they reside in, are available for reporting via our Hiring and Tracking Reports, giving you complete control. To Top

Q. Our vendor uses an outside company to power their national job board and they solicit our students and alumni and charge our employers. Do you do that?

Q. I need to track placements. Can your software do that?

A. CCN has an easy to use tool for all of your main constituents: students, alumni, and employers, called Report Offers/Hires. Each of these constituents can report, from the security of their personal pages, all offers and hires. They can even report offers/hires from our Jobs Central national job board's employers and jobs. As administrators, you can routinely email your constituents and remind them to access their personal accounts and report this information. To Top

Q. What are the contract terms?

A. We are very flexible regarding contract dates. If your school requires yearly renewal with your budget cycle, we can pro-rate an introductory period. We also offer fixed-rate, multi-year contracts that benefit you. Your price is locked and you won't have to worry about increases for the contract term. To Top
